The heroes can be found in the Spellbook. They have different base health and base mana. Those with more health have less mana, and vice-versa.

Unique Abilities[]
Each hero has a unique special ability activated by pressing the jump button twice. For Egan and Kelsey, these abilities cost mana to use:
- Egan: Ground Slam - Knock back and stun enemies in an area, doing minor damage.
- Kelsey: Levitate - Hover in mid-air. Can still move forward, back, left, or right while floating.
- Cygnus: Play Dead - Collapse on the ground and heal while being ignored by enemies.
- Gabriella: Feather Fall - Fall slowly. Can still control direction of movement while falling.
- Vorwick: Teleport - Teleport a medium distance forward.
- Max: Double Jump - Jump again while in mid-air.
